Jeera
Jeera is trading at Rs 17,300 per quintal in the Unjha market. Prices are expected to trade higher towards Rs 17,500 in a few weeks on lower availability and festive demand.

Cotton
The price of the benchmark S6 cotton variety at Gujarat is Rs 19,074 per bale of 170 kg each. The selling by farmers will peak after Diwali and push prices lower. Also, at current prices there is no export parity and the mills are not buying cotton in anticipation of lower prices. Cotton crop is up by six per cent from last year, at around 35 million bales. Expect prices to go down to Rs 18,500 in a week to 10 days.
