Red Chilli

Red chilli is currently trading at Rs 10,733 per quintal. Ongoing arrivals of new crop in Madhya Pradesh (MP) and Guntur are keeping prices under pressure. Production in MP has increased sharply from the previous year. Prices are expected to remain under pressure and can move towards Rs 10,600 in the coming days.

Mustard seed

Mustard seed at the Jaipur spot market is trading at Rs 4,663 per quintal. Prices are expected to trade with downward bias in coming days and head towards Rs 4,600. Negative crush margins might also keep sentiment weak, as demand for mustard oil and meal will improve only from mid-November. Prospects of nearly 10-15 per cent rise in area under sowing this season is weighing on prices further.
