Copper and zinc prices eased at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to reduced demand from industrial users amid weakening trend in the London Metal Exchange (LME).
Meanwhile, tin and brass firmed up on renewed demand from consumer industries.
Zinc fell by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 107 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 110 and copper utensils scrap moved down by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 341 as against Rs 343 previously.
Copper cable scrap, copper armiture, copper wire bar and copper sheets cutting, all softened by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 364, Rs 356, 392 and Rs 353, respectively.
However, tin gained further Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 940 from Rs 935 and brass utensils scrap inched up by a rupee per kilo to Rs 255.
