Copper futures fall 0.45% on profit-booking

Copper futures prices fell by 0.45% to Rs 416.20 per kg today, as speculators booked profits at existing higher levels.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper for delivery in February declined by Rs 1.90, or 0.45%, to Rs 416.20 per kg in a business turnover of 21,648 lots.

Likewise, the metal for delivery in April shed Rs 1.85, or 0.44%, to Rs 420 per kg in 1,516 lots.

Market analysts said speculators booking profits at prevailing higher levels.
