Copper marginally down 0.07% on global cues

Weak global trend affected the copper trade

Copper April futures declined by 30 paise, or 0.07%, to Rs 454.65 per kg in 1,054 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the February contract lost 20 paise, or 0.04%, to Rs 450.80 per kg in 19,658 lots.

Speculators trimming their positions and a weak global trend affected the copper futures trade.

Meanwhile, contract in three months lost 0.1% to $ 8,063.25 a tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
