Copper recovered by Rs 2 per kg in the wholesale local non-ferrous metals market today on better trend at the London Metal Exchange.
Traders said firming trend at the London Metal Exchange and pick up in demand from the consuming industries helped copper prices to recover. Meanwhile, copper rose 0.3 per cent to $6,118 a tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, copper wire scrap, copper wire bar and copper mixed scrap recovered by Rs 2 each to Rs 357, Rs 376 and Rs 336 per kg, respectively.
