Copper remains up on industrial demand

Improved global trend led to a firm trend in the international markets

Copper continued to rise for the third straight day by adding Rs 3 per kg on the local non-ferrous metals market today on increased industrial demand and firming global trend.

Traders said besides increased industrial demand, firming global trend mainly led to rise in copper prices.

In the national capital, copper mixed scrap added by Rs 3 to 400 per kg.
