Copper rises 0.2% on spot demand

Prices rose as speculators created fresh positions

Copper futures for April rose by Re 1, or 0.22% to Rs 451.85 per kg in 941 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCx), the February contract traded higher by 90 paise, or 0.2% to Rs 446.75 per kg in 7611 lots.

Prices rose as speculators created fresh positions driven by pick-up in spot market demands.
