Copper and tin prices rose by up to Rs 5 per kg in the local non-ferrous metal market on increased industrial demand amid a firming global trend.
Traders said increased industrial demand along with reports of rising trend in global markets mainly influenced copper and tin prices.
In the national capital, copper wire crap, copper wire bar and copper mixed scrap remained in demand and advanced by Rs 2 each to Rs 508, Rs 531 and Rs 492 per kg, respectively.
Tin ingot also strengthened by Rs 5 to Rs 857 per kg.
