Copra declines on subdued demand

Copra prices declined by Rs 100 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale dry fruits market today on sluggish demand.

Elsewhere, prices moved in a narrow range in restricted buying activity and settled around previous levels. 

Market analysts said sluggish demand against adequate stocks position mainly led to the decline in copra prices.  

In the national capital, copra prices declined by Rs 100 to Rs 7,500-7,700 per quintal.
