Copra Rajapur dropped at the spices market here today due to subdued demand from stockists and exporters amidst improved supplies from key growing regions.
Meanwhile, copra Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode firmed up on rising domestic demand as well as good offtake from millers.
Copra Rajapur fell sharply by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 8,000 from last weekend's closing level of Rs 8,200.
However, copra office Alapuzha and copra office Kozhikode gained by Rs 50 per quintal each to Rs 6,450 and Rs 6,350 respectively, compared to Rs 6,400 and Rs 6,300 last Saturday.
Other spices closed stable owing to lack of buying any worthwhile buying.
