In restricted activity, copra prices fell by Rs 50 per quintal in the local dry fruit market today owing to sluggish demand against adequate stocks.

Elsewhere, other dry-fruits prices moved in a narrow range on lack of worthwhile buying activity and settled around previous levels. Market analysts said sluggish demand against sufficient stocks position mainly helped copra prices to trade lower.

In the national capital, copra lost Rs 50 to Rs 7,750-7,950 per quintal.
