CRISIL slips on minor decline in Q2 net

Net profit declined to Rs 43.7 crore

CRISIL Ltd is trading lower by 2.3% at Rs 1,005 after the company posted a minor decline in net profit at Rs 43.7 crore for the second quarter ended June 2012 as against Rs 44.4 crore in the same period a year ago.

The consolidated total income for the quarter stood at Rs 216.5 crore as against Rs 204 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous year, an increase of 6.2%.

The board of directors declared the payment of the second interim dividend of Rs 3 per share on shares of face value of Re 1 each.

The stocks opened at Rs 1,011 on the Bombay Stock Exchange an touched the low of Rs 992 in the morning deals. As amany as 1,667 stocks have changed hands compared to its two-week average of 34,925 shares.
