Global crude oil prices, which were surging since the last few days due to supply-side issues, have started easing on the back of a strengthening dollar.

India's oil basket had hit an all-time high of $112.50 a barrel on April 28.

The oil basket comprises Oman-Dubai sour (high sulphur) grade crude and Brent dated sweet (low sulphur) crude in a 61.4:38.6 ratio.

Dubai crude on Friday settled at $104.89 a barrel, down $1.59, while Oman crude ended at $105.50 a barrel down $1.02 from the previous close. Brent crude, however, rose $1.91 per barrel from its previous close, to end at $111.9 a barrel.
