Crude oil futures prices rose by Rs 9 to Rs 3,725 per barrel today, as speculators enlarged their positions, supported by a firm trend in overseas markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, crude oil for delivery in December added Rs 9, or 0.24 per cent to Rs 3,725 per barrel, with a business turnover of 13 lots.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in January gained Rs 8, or 0.21 per cent to Rs 3,773 per barrel, with a trade volume of two lots.
