Tracking a weakening global trend, crude palm oil prices declined by Rs 4.30 to Rs 526.50 per 10 kg in futures market today as speculators offloaded their positions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, February crude palm oil declined by Rs 4.30, or 0.81%, to Rs 526.50 per 10 kg in business turnover of 387 lots.
The January delivery shed Rs 3.60, or 0.68%, to Rs 525 per 10 kg in 130 lots.
Traders said offloading of positions by speculators on the back of weakening global trend mainly, attributed fall in crude palm oil prices at futures market.
Meanwhile, palm oil fell 0.6% on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange.
