Crude palm oil prices traded marginally lower by Rs 0.70 or 0.19 per cent to Rs 373.30 per 10 kg in futures market today on fresh selling by traders and weakening global trend.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for June- month contract declined by Rs 0.70, or 0.19 per cent to Rs 373.30 per 10 kg, with an open interest of 1,858 lots.
Similarly, the oil for July contract lost Rs 0.60, or 0.16 per cent to Rs 372.50 per 10 kg, with a business volume of 1,654 lots.
Market analysts said fresh selling by traders, influenced by a weakening trend in overseas market led to a fall in crude palm oil prices at futures trade.
Meanwhile, palm oil for August-delivery fell 0.5 per cent to $734 a metric tonne on the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange.
