Crude palm oil prices rose by Rs 3.60 to Rs 436.40 per 10 kg in futures trade today.
Analysts said fresh buying by speculators on firming trend in the spot and global markets led to a rise in crude palm oil prices.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the January contract rose by Rs 3.60, or 0.83%, to Rs 436.40 per kg, with a trading volume of 3,075 lots.
Similarly, the December contract moved up by Rs 2, or 0.48%, to Rs 418.30 per 10 kg, with a business turnover of 559 lots.
