Crude palm oil weakens 0.8% on overseas cues

Prices weakened as speculators offloaded positions

Crude palm oil futures for March weakened by Rs 3.50, or 0.76%, to Rs 459.90 per 10 kg in 274 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the February contract traded lower by Rs 3, or 0.66%, to Rs 449.80 per 10 kg in 194 lots.

Prices weakened as speculators offloaded positions.

Weak overseas trend influenced the fall in crude palm oil futures trade here.

On the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange (MDEX), the April contract fell 2.1% to $825 a tonne, the lowest since January 30.
