Satyam nose-dived for the second day in a row, although the stock did end faily above the day's low.
The stock opened at Rs 32, and soon tumbled to a low of Rs 11.50 as uncertainity of the company's future loomed large. The counter, however, witnessed some buying at lower levels and finally ended with a loss of 40.3% at Rs 24 on the back of hefty volumes of around 8.20 crore shares on the BSE.
On Wednesday, Satyam ended with a huge loss of nearly 80% after the company's chairman Ramalinga Raju announced his resignation, and subsequent confession of financial irregularities to the tune of 7,800 crore.
