Financial Tech rides on platform launch

The Financial Technologies share was locked at the 20 per cent upper ceiling on Wednesday after the company launched STP-Gate, a comprehensive platform ensuring seamless, secure convergence and interface between fund managers, brokers and custodians. The scrip closed at Rs 25.70 on the BSE as against its previous close of Rs 21.45.

In mid-afternoon trades, the counter registered over 1.39 lakh shares in volumes. At the upper limit, the outstanding buy position in the stock was 7,199 shares.

At the end of trading, the counter registered a volume of 1.53 lakh shares. In the 10 sessions between November 11, 2002, and November 26, 2002, the scrip of Financial Technologies India have surged 47 per cent to Rs 21.45 from Rs 14.60.
