DB Realty tumbles on listing day

DB Realty is trading at Rs 418, a discount of around 11% to the IPO price of Rs 468, on the BSE.

The realty firm made its debut at Rs 430, which was a discount of 8.11% to the issue price. The stock thereafter hit a high of Rs 458.80 and low of Rs 415.55.

The Mumbai-based company had fixed the issue price at Rs 468 per share, which was at the lower end of the Rs 468-486 price band.

A total of Rs 1,500 crore was raised through the share offering, which was subscribed 2.95 times. The proceeds would be utilised towards new projects, pre-payment of loans and general corporate purposes.

 

DB Realty focuses on residential, commercial, retail and other projects such as mass housing and cluster redevelopment in and around Mumbai.

The other listing of the day, Emmbi Polyarns is trading at Rs 46 on the BSE, as against the issue price of Rs 45. The stock listed at Rs 45 and has touched a high of Rs 47 and a low of Rs 44 thus far.

Emmbi Polyarns manufactures woven sacks, FIBC and PP bags, and other woven polymer based products.
