Paper stocks have been consistently falling in the last three months, many of them more than 10 per cent. Today, major stocks failed to react positively to reports that paper companies have increased prices of paper for the second time this year from October.

Shares of Ballarpur Industries (BILT) fell by 0.98 per cent at Rs 40.50 today on BSE. The scrip has witnessed an erosion of 26 per cent from Rs 54.70 three months ago (July 1) on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

West Coast Paper declined about 3 per cent in last threee months to close today at Rs 88. Balkrishna Industries also lost about 3 per cent in last three months at today
