Dow closed at 4 1/2-yr high; ADRs finish mixed

The Dow closed at its highest level in the last four-half year at 11,121 - gaining 62 points. The market mood was positive following positive guidance by Hewlett-Packard. The Nasdaq was up 18 points at 2294.

The curde for March delivery ended 81 cents higher at $58.46 a barrel on the NYMEX.

The Nikkei has dropped 119 points to 15,925. The Hang Seng has gained 67 points at 15,518.

The Indian ADRs painted a mixed picture. Dr.Reddy's surged 5.5% to $27.80. Satyam spurted 3.4% to $41.19. ICICI Bank advanced 2.7% to $31.14, while HDFC Bank rallied 2.3% to $57.28. MTNL plunged over 4% to $7.16. Infosys, Wipro and VSNL ended marginally into red.
