Dow down 18pts, Tata Motors up 2%

The two major Wall Street indices closed on a mixed note yesterday. While the Dow declined 18 points to 10,623, the Nasdaq Composite was up 10 points at 2,195.

Indian ADRs, too, closed on a mixed note. Tata Motors moved up nearly 2% to $11.54. Dr. Reddy's was up over 2% at $19.30. VSNL and Satyam also finished with gains. ICICI Bank dropped nearly 4% to $25.40. Infosys, Wipro and HDFC Bank also declined.
