US stocks fell on Thursday after Wal-Mart Stores said November sales would be flat at stores open for more than a year in the US. Adding to concerns were data on productivity and high labor costs that raised concerns about inflation and slow growth. While the Dow slipped 12 points to 12,018, the Nasdaq Composite was flat at 2,334. Indian ADRs finished on a mixed note. ICICI Bank gained nearly 2% to $35.19. Infosys, HDFC Bank and Tata Motors closed with marginal gains. WNS dropped over a per cent to $29.41. Satyam, Wipro and Dr. Reddy's declined. |
