The Dow Industrial Average index gained 151 points to end at 8,425 on the back of a late rally. The Nasdaq ended almost flat at 1,483 - up a point.
The Indian ADRs, however, ended on weak note. Satyam and MTNL plunged over 4% each to $12.47 and $3, respectively. Infosys, Genpact, Sterlite, Wipro, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and Tata Motors dropped 1-3% each. Dr.Reddy's, however, gained 4% at $8.37.
