Dow gains 35pts; ADRs mixed

The Dow Jones industrial average moved up 35 points to 12,954. The Nasdaq was up a point at 2525.

Indian ADRs ended on a mixed note. Tata Motors rallied 4.5% to $18.81. ICICI Bank soared 4% to $45.35, and HDFC Bank added 3.5% to $72.81. Dr.Reddy's surged 1.7% to $17.14, and Patni Computers gained 1.3% at $26.49.

On the other hand, MTNL plunged 6.6% to $7.21. Wipro shed 1.7% to $16.30. Infosys and Satyam were down around 1% each to $53.07 and $25.13, respectively.
