Dow gains 46pts; Infosys zooms 7%

Tech stocks led the rally on Wall Street yesterday, and both the major indices closed with gains. While the Dow was up 46 points at 10,796, the Nasdaq composite index was up 23 points at 2,077.

Indian tech ADRs, too, rallied sharply yesterday. Infosys zoomed over 7% to $74. While Satyam advanced over 5% to $25.79, Wipro was up 3% at $22.86. Tata Motors and Dr. Reddy's also finished with gains.
