Dow soars 133 pts, Indian ADRs join rally

US markets rallied for the third straight session as steady inflation report lifted the sentiment on Wednesday. While the Dow Jones flared up 133 points to 10,464, the Nasdaq moved up 26 points to close at 2,031.

Indian ADRs, which took a beating yesterday, ended with sharp gains. Wipro soared nearly 5% to $19.70, while Satyam rose 4% to $23.18. Infosys gained 3.83% to $65.83.

ICICI Bank notched up nearly 5% gains to $20.21, and HDFC Bank added 3% to $42.94. While MTNL jumped 4.75% to $6.39, VSNL logged 4.28% gains to $9.75. Dr. Reddy's and Tata Motors also ended in the green with steady gains at $15.95 and $9.96, respectively.
