Drilling rigs order from ONGC boosts Shiv Vani

Shiv Vani Oil & Gas Exploration Services moved up 5.07 per cent to Rs 575.50 after the company secured a contract worth Rs 1,610 crore from Oil & Natural Gas Corporation to deploy eight onshore deep drilling rigs.

On the BSE, 215,000 shares of Shiv Vani were traded, against the average daily volumes of 41,727 shares in the last quarter. The stock hit a high of Rs 608.60 and a low of Rs 536.75 during the day. It hit a 52-week high of Rs 739.95 on January 17, 2008 and a 52-week low of Rs 300 on August 16, 2007.
