Everest Inds scales new peak on strong Q2 results

The Everest Industries scrip was up 5.21 per cent to Rs 176.80 in Thursday's subdued market on the back of strong second quarter September results.
 
The company reported a 34 per cent rise in net profit to Rs 4.82 crore for the quarter ended September 2005. The net sales also rose 15 per cent to Rs 50.99 crore.
 
The company had recently signed up a technological tie up with with Brazil-based Brasilit Ind e Com Ltd, a wholly owned company of Saint Gobain. Everest Industriesis is engaged in the manufacture of fibre based cement products.
