Markets started the fresh October futures and options series on a very sombre note amid bouts of volatility.

The July-September quarterly results starting with Infosys on October 11 and the Reserve Bank of India's monetary policy on October 29 will further make investor sentiments jittery.

Anup Chandak : Next month we will see range bound move with nifty range working out to be 5620 on lower side and 6240 on higher side for the monthfor cumming week the range will be 5800 to 6000
