The Nifty July future is trading at a premium of 7 points at 4,430 as against the spot Nifty which is trading at 4,421 (up 45 points). Around 347,347 contracts have been traded on the NSE so far. The open interest has increased by 1.83 million shares to 23.50 million shares.
NIFTY CALL ACTION
The Nifty 4,600 Call is trading at Rs 128, and 69,018 contracts have been traded on the NSE so far. The Call has added 508,600 shares to open interest (OI). The 4,500 Call has seen trades of around 49,794 contracts and the 4,400 Call has seen trades of around 45,022 contracts. While the former has seen a net addition of 68,250 shares to OI, the latter has added 146,400 shares.
NIFTY PUT ACTION
The Nifty 4,200 Put is trading at Rs 107, and 35,046 contracts have been traded on the NSE. The Put has added 149,150 shares in open interest. The 4,300 Put has seen trades of around 35,084 contracts and the 4,000 Put has seen trades of around 25,628 contracts. While the former has seen a net addition of 145,850 shares to OI, the latter has added 83,850 shares.
MOST ACTIVE STOCK FUTURES
GMR Infrastructure July future is the most active stock future with trades of around 28,841 contracts. The July future is trading on par with its spot at Rs 154. The open interest has seen net addition of 1.34 million shares to 26.85 million shares. Reliance and HDIL are the other active stock futures. While Reliance OI has risen to 6.40 million shares on addition of 3,750 shares, HDILwhich is trading at Rs 264 has seen a reduction of 5,418 shares to 12.58 million shares.
MOST ACTIVE STOCK OPTIONS
Reliance Rs 2,100 Call is the most active stock option with trades of around 1,464 contracts. The Call is trading at Rs 130 with an addition of 19,500 shares in OI at 124,200 shares. Tata Steel Rs 400 Call and RPL Rs 150 Call are the other active stock options.Tata Steel Rs 400 Call has added 7,640 shares to total OI of 815,188 shares. It is trading at Rs 28.50. RPL Rs 150 Call has seen a net addition of around 522,000 shares to 1.27 million and is trading at Rs 2.45.
