The Nifty September futures is trading at a premium of 24 points at 4,488 as against the spot Nifty which is down 18 points at 4,464. The counter has seen trades of around 3.16 lakh contracts and the open interest (OI) has increased by nearly 21 lakh shares to 3.33 crore shares.
CALL ACTION
The Nifty September 4,500 call is the most active counter with trades of over one lakh contracts, and the open interest has increased by 2.45 lakh shares to 37.11 lakh shares.
The Nifty 4,600 call has seen trades of over 61,100 contracts, and the open interest has increased by nearly nine lakh shares to 37.30 lakh shares.
The Nifty 4,400 and 4,700 calls have seen trades of around 32,200 and 30,150, contracts, respectively. The 4,400 call open interest has increased by 1,800 shares to 30.68 lakh shares, and the open interest in 4,700 call has risen by 4.27 lakh shares to 21.40 lakh shares.
PUT ACTION
The Nifty September 4,400 put is the most actively traded counter with trades of over 50,000 contracts, and the open interest has increased by 11.67 lakh shares to 31.67 lakh shares.
The Nifty 4,300 and 4,200 puts have seen trades of around 38,900 and 26,900, contracts, respectively. The 4,300 put open interest has increased by 3.11 lakh shares to 48.37 lakh shares, and 4,200 put open interest has declined by 9,650 shares to 49.22 lakh shares.
The Nifty 4,500 and 4,100 puts have seen trades of around 19,500 and 11,300, contracts, respectively. The 4,500 put open interest has increased by 6.39 lakh shares to 16.21 lakh shares, and 4,100 put open interest has moved up by 48,450 shares to 18.95 lakh shares.
