FII inflows positive, cross Rs 500cr

Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) recorded net purchases of Rs 530.3 crore in equities for the trading week ended April 8.

Foreign funds were net sellers of Rs 40.20 crore in the debt market for the period under review, according to data available with Sebi.

The Sensex dropped 125.50 points during the week under review to close at 6,479.54 points.
