In Satnam Overseas, the FII holding went up from 22.54 per cent to 31.08 per cent during the quarter ended March 31, 2005, as against 8.54 per cent last year. Similarly, in Max India, the FII holding went up from 19.27 per cent to 23.25 per cent and in Apollo Hospitals, it rose by 16.44 per cent to 27.90 per cent during the same period.  In a few instance, the promoters either sold their stake through a private equity deal or in the open market to FIIs.
