The foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 440.98 crore in futures and options segments on Thursday.
According to the data released by the NSE, FIIs were net buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 242.77 crore, while they sold index options worth Rs 266.51 crore.
They were net buyers of stock futures to the tune of Rs 406.33 crore and bought stock options worth Rs 58.40 crore.
