The foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 4,823.84 crore in the futures and options segments on Thursday.
According to the data released by the NSE, FIIs were net sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 496.62 crore, while they sold index options worth Rs 4,073.94 crore.
They were net sellers of stock futures to the tune of Rs 285.59 crore and bought stock options worth Rs 32.3 crore.
