Final corporate bond norms soon

Final guidelines for issuance of corporate bonds would be released at the next board meet of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi), T C Nair, the wholetime member of Sebi, said on Wednesday.

"We have decided to go in for total simplification of the procedures for corporate debt issuances. The private placement listing will be absolutely hassle-free," Nair said, in his address at a seminar on the corporate debt market.

The capital market regulator's next board meeting is scheduled for April 16.
