Franklin Templeton buys 3 mn shares of GPPL

However, the seller of the shares could not be ascertained

Franklin Templeton Investment Funds today bought nearly 3 million shares of Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd (GPPL) for a little over Rs 16 crore.

According to bulk data available with the stock exchanges, Franklin Templeton Investment Funds bought 2.97 million equities (amounting to 0.7%) of GPPL for Rs 55.75 apiece, valuing the deal to Rs 16.59 crore.

However, the seller of the shares could not be ascertained.

Shares of Gujarat Pipavav Port closed at Rs 55.85 on the BSE, up 0.45% from the previous close.
