Free fall continues, Sensex slumps 435pts

The Sensex has tumbled all the way to 9322 - down 435 points.

The market breadth is extremely negative - 95% of the traded stocks are in negative zone. Out of a total of 1,846 stocks traded so far, 1,751 have declined, 87 have advanced and eight are unchanged.
