Fresh orders shore up Nagarjuna Construction

It was a similar story for Nagarjuna Construction Company (NCC) stocks. The scrip gained after the company announced bagging fresh orders.
 
The stock in intra-day touched a high of Rs 211.95 before closing at Rs 207.55, up over 4 per cent from its previous close of Rs 197.45. The counter witnessed volumes of more than 24,000 shares on the BSE.
 
NCC, on Monday, had announced that it has won three new orders, worth Rs 158.03 crore, relating water projects. Two of the new orders are from Gujarat Water Supply and Sewage Board. The third one is an irrigation project from the Jharkhand Water Resources Department.
 
The stock has moved from a low of Rs 130.30 on June 22 to Tuesday's close of Rs 207.55.
