European markets opened with a positive gap today. Banking sector was one of the biggest risers with investors waiting for the results of the US government's "stress tests" on banks.
The FTSE has rallied 2.5% to 4,347 in early trades, helped by commidity-related stocks.
The CAC has advanced 13 points to 3,225. The DAX has gained 23 points at 4,880.
The Dow and the Nasdaq had both ended up 2.5% yesterday.
