 November Nifty rose 1.20 points to close at 1548.00 while the NSE S&P CNX Nifty closed 1543.90. Open positions in the Nifty reduced by four lakh shares with roll-over of around six lakh shares to the December series.

 In Nifty options, November put at 1540.00 dominated the trade. Other put strikes at 1550 and 1500 witnessed action. In calls, November Nifty 1550 call witnessed action.

 Meanwhile, the aggregate turnover on the National Stock Exchange rose to 10,018.55 crore through 243,280 contracts.
