Gail issue advanced to Feb 27

The government has advanced the date of the public offering of its 10 per cent stake in Gail India to February 27 from March 13 as decided earlier, according to officials. The Gail issue is likely to remain open from February 27 to March 5 and ONGC from March 5 to 13.
 
As per the schedule drawn by the disinvestment ministry in consultation with merchant bankers today, the ONGC issue will hit the markets on March 5 instead of March 3 as per the previous schedule.
 
The IPCL issue will hit the markets on February 20 and remain open till February 27, while that of CMC will hit the markets on February 23 and remain open till February 28.
 
The public issue of Bank of Maharashtra is slated for February 25 and will remain open for bidding till March 3, while the issue of the Power Trading Corporation will hit the market on March 1 and will remain open till March 7. In the case of Biocon, the issue will hit the markets on March 1 and remain open till March 7.
 
Public offer for the government's 20 per cent stake in Dredging Corporation and 26 per cent in IBP will open on February 26 and bidding will close on March 5, they said.
