The Sensex continues to display firm trend, and is now up around 584 at 15,068.
Reliance Infrastructure has zoomed 7% to Rs 1,086, and ICICI Bank has soared 6.5% to Rs 732.
Larsen & Toubro, BHEL and NTPC have surged 5.8% each to Rs 2,768, Rs 1,831 and Rs 183, respectively.
HDFC Bank, Grasim, Jaiprakash Associates, DLF and HDFC have rallied 5% each to Rs 1,312, Rs 2,055, Rs 176, Rs 520 and Rs 2,395, respectively.
SBI and Tata Power have gained 4.5% each at Rs 1,588 and Rs 1,127, respectively.
The market breadth is extremely positive - out of 2,559 stocks traded so far, 1,789 have advanced, 701 have declined and 69 are unchanged.
