Gains intact; ITC, Grasim, HDFC firm

The Sensex tocuhed a high of 8741, and is now up 86 points at 8725. The Nifty is up 24 points at 2633.

ITC, Grasim and HDFC continue to remain bouyant with gains of nearly 3% each. Cipla has moved up 2.4% to Rs 405.

Ranbaxy has cut some of its losses and is now down 0.5% at Rs 364.
