The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI) declined by over 1 per cent to 477.40 on Wednesday compared with its previous close.
Among the global depository receipts (GDRs), four gained while one lost ground. The gainers were: Hindalco (up 2.45 per cent to $12.55), Reliance (up 1.25 per cent to $12.14), Bajaj Auto (up 0.87 per cent to $10.45) and State Bank of India (up 0.07 per cent to $15.21). Ranbaxy (down 0.70 per cent to $15.50) was the only loser.
Among American depositary receipts (ADRs), seven advanced while one lost ground. The gainers were: ICICI Bank (up 3.30 per cent to $5.95), Wipro (up 3.04 per cent to $22.40) and VSNL (up 2.98 per cent to $3.11). The only loser was MTNL (down 0.25 per cent to $4.04).
