Global markets, Indian ADRs in red

The major indices on Wall Street closed lower for yet another day. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 27 points lower at 10,892. The Nasdaq slipped 22 points to finish at 2240.

The Asian markets are tracking losses on the Wall Street. The Nikkei is down 44 points at 15834. The Hang Seng has shed 71 points to 15,242.

The Indian ADRs ended in a sea of red. Infosys and Satyam declined nearly 2% each to $72.01 and $39.07, respectively. Wipro slipped 1.2% to $13.93. ICICI Bank dropped 3.2% to $29.93, and MTNL shed 2.4% to $6.88.
